National Anglers Representative Association. Founded 1988
Serving Game Angling.

Our Mission is to conserve protect and restore our Wild Trout and Salmonid Habitats throughout this Island. We believe that we have a duty to future generations to pass on our fishery habitats in pristine condition so that our children may have the opportunity to experience wild trout and salmon angling.

NARA recognises the absolute importance of all of our truly wild trout fisheries within this state and will work to ensure that these fisheries and habitats are managed as wild trout fisheries. This includes a commitment to predator control based on sound scientific advice and guidance.

NARA will lobby European, National and Local Government on behalf of anglers in relation to pollution and environmental issues.

We will encourage development of Game Angling in our rivers and lakes

We will lobby for the introduction of measures to control and eliminate foreign invasive species from our waterways.

We will work to ensure the restoration of Salmon, Sea Trout, and Wild Brown Trout habitat throughout the island.

We will provide competitive insurance to all our clubs

We will provide advice and help to our member clubs on issues affecting their local waters.
